Team stories

  • Over the past two and a half years, with a lot of support from my managers, I’ve grown into the role of Assistant General Manager at The Hound. What I enjoy most about working with the Pubs is being surrounded by passionate, driven people who genuinely care about great hospitality—and having the opportunity to grow and take on new challenges within such a supportive environment.

  • What I love most about working at The George is the focus on people. Whether it's building friendships with colleagues behind the bar or connecting with guests, no matter how brief their stay. There's a real sense of community. Every shift brings great conversation and new insights, which I see as a core part of APG's approach to hospitality.

  • I joined the company in September 2022 as a Chef de Partie, and now I’m proud to be working as a Junior Sous Chef. From day one, I’ve felt fully supported — the company has given me every opportunity to grow and improve. I truly appreciate everything: the team, the training, and the encouragement to develop my skills and move forward in my career.
